They block out the sun very well and keep the wind from making my eyes water as I ride my motor cycle. They also don't blow off when I turn my head to look behind me, or slide down my nose like other fit over sunglasses.The only problems I experienced with them is if I wear them in my truck in the winter they fog up, and they don't fit so well when wearing a tight helmet. For the price these are GREAT. Update - They are very durable. I've sat on them, dropped them, and left them hanging from my handlebars out in the sun and rain for months. I was somewhat surprised when I noticed the foam was still intact and not pealing off.
